I don't usually dive into a new cookbook and start blasting through recipe after recipe, but with this one I just can't help myself. The photos are so gorgeous, the recipes easy to follow, and the music suggestions are very cool - the only other cookbook author I've ever seen make music suggestions to cook by is Bryant Terry. It's a feast for all the senses.
Plotting my strategy to cook everything, trying new ones every week. Thus far the No-Cheese Mac 'n' Cheese really blew me away, and I've got enough of the sauce leftover for 3 more servings, so that saves me major food prep time next week. Topped it with Pepitas for some crunchy protein kick. The Egg Roll-Ups are a breakfast game changer and they're amazing dipped in the Caesar Dressing! Already thinking about a Mexican variation. And the Green Goddess Grits are a very creative and tasty way to put grits on the breakfast or lunch menu instead of just breakfast. I used Oyster mushrooms and topped it with Beyond Sausage Hot Italian links sliced crosswise.
Seriously, get this book and get cookin.' Just dive right in.
